How Is SkinPen Microneedling Performed?
SkinPen micronedling is an in-office procedure and usually takes 30 – 60 minutes. Before starting your procedure, a member of our team may apply a numbing cream to the treatment area to minimize any potential discomfort. Once you're relaxed and ready, we'll carefully pass the microneedling handpiece over your skin, creating a gridwork of "micro-injuries" to stimulate your body's natural repair processes. Because the SkinPen is designed to use disposable needle cartridges, you don't need to be concerned about contamination.
